Today, a jumbo jet crashed in Germany. More than 350 people lost their lives.

In fact, this happens every day in Germany. But it is the products and practices of the tobacco industry, not plane crashes, that kill so many people. More than 130,000 every year.

It is time to take decisive action. That’s why we build a new non-profit organisation. We will focus on smart, forward-looking campaigns and strategic advocacy for a tobacco-free* Germany.

The new organisation will counter the tobacco industry’s lobby power and convince political decision-makers to champion the vision of a tobacco-free Germany.

Because of it’s population size and economical power, Germany has huge influence within the EU and globally. That is why we will focus our work on Germany, but we will also engage in European and global forums (for example, influencing EU regulation and decisions on the global tobacco control treaty WHO FCTC).

We need your help to find a name for the new organization!

*Tobacco-free includes e-cigarettes or other related products
